Sonya Parchment is an experienced travel professional who has been a leader in the industry for over 30 years. Sonya’s client portfolio includes prominent local and international organizations, government ministries and agencies and individual travelers who demand high standards of accountability. She has spent most of her career as an owner of the Travel Centre which was an IATA accredited agency in Kingston, Jamaica which she started, and then merged in the late 1980s into a larger agency with reach throughout the Caribbean. She is well qualified and experienced in the business of international travel, private jet charters, complex airfares and itineraries, and handles some leisure travel for selected clients booking villas and luxury hotels.

Sonya has certification from Sabre and Amadeus, as well as several travel certifications through IATA (the International Air Transport Association) and JATA (the Jamaica Association of Travel Agents). She is a past president of the Jamaica Association of Travel Agents and served for many years as their Vice President.
